2.) What is on Your Menu?
The Works Bakery Café features a distinctive menu based on whole foods with pure natural ingredients, with tastes from simple to sophisticated including New York-style bagels, artisan breads, creative sandwiches and wraps, decadent pastries, fresh fruit smoothies, crisp salads, delicious paninis, coffee, lattes, and more! Many of our offerings feature Fair Trade, as well as locally sourced and organic products, too!

3.) What Do You Mean by Local, Organic, and Fair Trade? Why is That Important?
As a company committed to social and environmental responsibility, we feel it’s important to show that commitment in all we do. By purchasing local products whenever possible, we not only support community farms and reduce the distances that items travel to our stores, we also provide the freshest ingredients possible for our customers’ enjoyment. Fair Trade means that our products are acquired by means that ensure farmers receive a fair price for their labors. Organic products are grown and created without the use of chemical pesticides or fertilizers, and in the case of dairy, without hormones, making our offerings healthier for people and the environment!

4.) What Experience Do I Need to Become a Works Bakery Café Owner/Operator?
The Works Bakery Café is looking for potential owner/operators with a demonstrated desire for, and history of, success in multiple areas of life: personal, professional, academic, and community. 6.) What Investment is Required?

11.) Does The Works Bakery Café Provide Training?
Yes. To ensure that you have the information and skills you need to reach your potential as a Works Bakery Café owner/operator, we provide a comprehensive six-week training program, as well as comprehensive operating and procedural manuals. In addition to our training and support documents, we provide architectural and design specification, grand opening support, training assistance, and proven quality and inventory control programs.

12.) Who Determines the Site Location?
The Works Bakery Café will provide our owner/operators with information about what has proven successful for current locations, and we will require the submission of all site information for approval by The Works Bakery Café. However, as an owner/operator, it will be up to you to learn about your local market and determine the course of your business. The Works Bakery Café has a thoughtful site approval process, but that approval is not a guarantee of success.

After site approval by The Works Bakery Café, we will provide you with our architectural plans and design specifications. As the owner/operator, you must hire the architects, designers, an construction personnel to work with you to build your Works Bakery Café.

The Works Bakery Café has developed a community-based marketing program that focuses on involvement in the community, as well as support of local events. We also provide four-wall marketing materials for display in your Works Bakery Café, POS marketing materials, menus, and other marketing support.
